to St. George. Staten Island Railway to Stapleton Station; walk west one block to Bay St.; turn left on Bay St. and walk south to Canal St. Turn right and walk west one block.

S51, S76 — to Tappen Park; walk west one block.

S78 — to corner of Canal and Wright Sts.; cross Canal St. to library.

Driving

Verrazano Bridge (use lower level; bearing extreme right at toll plaza) to Bay St. exit. Make left onto Bay St.; follow Bay St. for two miles. Left turn onto Water St. which leads into Canal St. at traffic signal. (Parking is available along center traffic island on Canal St.)
