The Bronx
- Clason's Point Branch – The library will be closing for a day on Friday, June 19 and will be opening on Saturday June 20.
- Edenwald Branch – The branch will be closed for painting starting Tuesday, June 30 and will reopen on Monday July 6.
- High Bridge Branch – The High Bridge Branch will be closed beginning on June 4, 2007 for a Major Renovation.
Manhattan
- Donnell Library Center – As of August 30, 2008, The Donnell Library Center is closed. Please visit one of the other branches of The New York Public Library.
- Mid-Manhattan Library – The Picture Collection is closed on Sundays.
- St. Agnes Branch – The St. Agnes Branch Library will close for a full renovation starting Monday, October 15, 2007, and the renovation work is estimated to last two years.
Staten Island
- All locations in Staten Island are scheduled to be open.
